It is a cliche, but Content is King. The key to any successful business – and you should consider your Zazzle store to be your own personal business empire – is the provision of content that consumers want to purchase.

It is a cliche, but Content is King. The key to any successful business – and you should consider your Zazzle store to be your own personal business empire – is the provision of content that consumers want to purchase.

To find inspiration on what’s hot – and hopefully what sells, check out the Zazzle Trends and Bestseller List. This information can be found at www.zazzle.com on the home page.

These lists give you valuable insight into what people are buying and what you should be creating as content.

At the time of writing, products featuring President Obama are now trending downwards. Football, as we move towards the SuperBowl, is trending upwards. Seal Team 6, in spite of their recent success in Somali, is also trending downwards.

Certainly at the moment, anything to do with Ron Paul is a big hit – T-shirts, bumper stickers, etc.. Use your creative abilities to design your own unique products to sell for trending topics. Make sure your ideas and designs are your own and different than what is already selling. You definitely need to respect other artists’ copyright. Plus your new and original take on a popular trend might actually become a bestseller. Be unique and one of a kind and you will be a success.

Tapping into the best-selling trends is a great way to increase your potential sales for popular events.  Sometimes however, even better, some sellers specialize in market niches, and have found this to be very profitable!
